BFA Design and Studio Arts UW-Eau Claire - graduated 1995 GPA - roughly 3.5 - it has been a while 2 credits short of minor in Chemistry 2 years study on Art Education prior to switching to studio arts While in college I was often asked by the instructors to assist with helping struggling students grasp concepts. Exceptionally rewarding.

Experience

Tutoring Experience: Small class and studio instruction experience - not formal. Focusing primarily on the fundamentals of art. I enjoy teaching and helping people see past obstacles. In art it is much more the teaching basics then getting to work on applying the basics, learning the methods. To teach and instruct is one of the greatest gifts one can do regardless of the subject. I currently work in two capacities - 1. I run my own company for recruiting and art. I interface with all genres of people daily and must relate in ways to build relationships that last. 2. I am constantly creating in art and as of Nov I have two solo exhibits locally as well as two slated for Dec/Jan.

I enjoy the great out of doors. Aside from the normal MN activities of hiking, camping, hunting and fishing I rather enjoy racing bikes. I have raced across the US - Race Across America 2009 Team Strong Heart and still participate in local racing events in mt biking. I am a father of three and have been married 20 years to Tina my wife. We live in Dayton MN. Other interests are in the area of school sports, community service (BSA, Church Sunday School and charity events) and mowing a lot of yards for our elderly neighbors. Feel free to ask what you like.
